Sessions usually take place weekly and last for approximately one hour. The initial consultation session sometimes takes a little longer, perhaps up to an hour and a half, and is charged at £25. This gives you and me a chance to get to know each other a little, and for you to decide if you feel comfortable working with me.
My standard fee for a counselling session is £45, which is payable at the end of each appointment. I am happy to accept payment either by cash or by online bank transfer.
A limited number of spaces are available at a concessionary rate, by negotiation, in case of financial hardship. If you feel the standard fee is out of reach please do discuss your situation with me and I will do all I can to help. The most important thing is that you get the help you need, so please do talk to me and we will find a way round any difficulties if we can.
I know how tough it can be to be added to a long waiting list when you really need help. I also know from my own experience how hard it can feel to make that first step to come for counselling. Therefore when potential clients contact me I try to offer an appointment within a week (or quicker than that whenever possible) so that people don’t have too long to wait.

My premises are situated in a quiet rural area with privacy for anyone entering or leaving. There is plenty of car parking available. The counselling room is on the first floor with stairs to access so if you have mobility difficulties please let me know and I will make arrangements to make things easier.
Flexible scheduling is available including morning (before 9am), evening (after 6pm) and Saturday morning appointments. In certain circumstances I can offer telephone or Skype appointments although my usual way of working is face-to-face.
